RUNNING FOR JUSTICE IS A MINNESOTA-BASED NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT IS PASSIONATE ABOUT FIGHTING AGAINST SEX TRAFFICKING!
HOW DO WE DO THIS?
We believe that all change starts witheducationso we work in thelocal communitiesto raise awareness of sex trafficking, how it happens, what it looks like, how you can get involved in the fight, and how pornography helps drive demand for sex trafficking.
Through education, we believe that there can be a shift in the demand and help bring an end to sex trafficking. We distribute materials on prevention of sex trafficking wherever we can and also do education on our Facebook Running For Justice site; one of the ways is passing on articles from other organizations fighting this atrocity and different events going on.
In addition to this, we donate funds to homeless shelters, trafficking rescues, and other organizations, as our board votes to financially aid in the prevention of trafficking those at risk, and the recovery of those who have been trafficked. Some of these are: Terebinth Refuge (St. Cloud), Stories Foundation (Crystal), A.C.T. United (Chaska), Central MN Sexual Assault Center (St Cloud), Open Doors For Youth (Elk River), Trafficking Justice, (Mpls) Men As Peacemakers (Duluth), Mattoo (Mpls), Restore One-trafficked boys (North Carolina), National Center of Sexual Exploitation,(Washington, D.C.) and Courageous Love. (northern Thailand)
We have an annual May Bike-a-Thon and August 5k, at which we always have a speaker, bringing education & awarness, and we are involved in other community events, so we can bring education and awareness.
We have a Running For Justice ad up in the Hockey Rink by the Senior High School. It has the national human trafficking hotline texting number BEFREE (233722), for anyone needing help.
We are now offering a 4 tier (smaller if you would like) brochure rack and brochures on what sex trafficking is, and a few resources on where to get help, to each church, organization, and business in the Elk River and surrounding areas, that is interested. Just contact Susie at: email@example.com We will continue to stock those racks as needed.
We like to have fun while we fight for those that can’t, so be sure to check us out and see what we’re up to! We want to make our communities a safe place for all to live!
Our mission: Preventing sex trafficking through education and awareness, to our local communities and beyond.
